Applied Kinesiology Seminars Basic Course of Instruction
The fundamentals of Manual Muscle Testing

Included in the course are techniques for treating:

• Muscle and facial chains
• Cranial/sacral treatment
• An introduction to orthomolecular medicine
• Integration of movement and learnt reflex patterns

Weekend 1 – (5 / 6 Oct 2024) –  Treating the whole person, the principles of Applied Kinesiology and manual muscle testing, systemic structural problems (cranial and pelvic faults) and an introduction to assessing muscle chains.

Weekend 2 – (2 / 3 Nov 2024) – Treating the whole person, advanced cranial faults, the diaphragm, local spinal problems. Integrating movement patterns and muscle chains

Weekend 3 – (30 Nov / 1 Dec 2024) –  Treating the whole person, systemic inflammation, stress reactions and the glandular / hormonal system.

Each weekend counts as 14 hours professional learning (7 hours per day)

Price:

  • €450 per weekend
  • Full course discount €1200 for all 3 weekends paid in advance before the start of the first weekend.

Timings:

Saturday: welcome from 08.30, start at 09.00, finish 17.00
Sunday: welcome from 08.30, start at 09.00, finish 16.00

Entry requirements:

Course attendees are required to have degree level education in a medical related subject. Exemptions can sometimes be given on an individual basis if a student is currently studying on a qualifying therapy course at degree level (or higher) but has not yet qualified.  Please contact us for further information.

Aim of the course:

To provide diagnostic tools and background information to assist medical practitioners in diagnosis and treatment of patients.  The course is provided as continual professional development (CPD) for primary care practitioners.  An electronic attendance certificate is provided at the end of each weekend which can be submitted to your professional body as evidence for CPD.

Is the course suitable for me:

The course is for professional primary care practitioners (for example: chiropractors, osteopaths, physiotherapists, and dentists etc).  

Course language:

All communication regarding this course and the course itself are given in English.

Duration of course:

The full course is split over 3 weekends which is 6 days in total.  Please note, it is possible to attend individual weekends, but weekend 1 is essential to attend if you have no prior Applied Kinesiology experience.  Please contact us for further information.

Study material:

Before the course starts, we will send you an electronic copy of the course notes.  These course notes are included in the price of the course.

There are no self study hours required, but naturally you may practice what you have learned on the course for the benefit of your own patients!
